Dr Charlie Wang

Dr Charlie Wang is an Australian-trained Dermatologist. 

He completed his medical degree at Monash University as a recipient of the National Scholarship of Excellence.

Dr Wang has completed specialist training in Victoria, with experience across major tertiary centres including Monash Health, Eastern Health, The Royal Children’s Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and The Skin Health Institute. He currently consults at Monash Health and The Skin Health Institute, where he teaches and supervises medical students and dermatology trainees.

Dr Wang maintains a strong interest in dermatology research. He completed a Master’s degree by research at Monash University focusing on melanoma and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, including in leading journals such as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and JAMA Dermatology. He has also worked as a sub-investigator on multiple clinical trials, contributing to the evaluation of novel dermatological treatments prior to regulatory approval.

Dr Wang has experience across all areas of medical and procedural dermatology within his scope of practice. His particular interests include inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, connective tissue diseases, hidradenitis suppurativa, and acne, as well as paediatric dermatology.
